Here is a piece that displays like a couple thousand dollar belt for 1/10th of the price. This is a great looking silvered "snake" buckle on the original belt. There were some of these snake buckles used during the Civil War but this is a later version that is likely from the 1870's to 1890s. It is in fine non-excavated condition and is even still attached to the original black leather belt. If you notice , the leather has been stamped in more recent times with a FAKE Confederate marking. This one is from AFTER the Civil War and is priced accordingly.
