Here's a fine display set for your relic room. This is an original cased pair of officers shoulder epaulets. As you can see they are attractive from all angles. They are made with the single eagle button with the "C" in the center of the shield on the eagle's chest. The "C" lets us know that these were made for the cavalry branch of service. So we know that they were used by Captain of the eleventh cavalry. Each of the epaulets still retain the beautiful gold bullion tassels. When you look under each epaulet you see the original red lining. These are the higher-quality ones that are custom-made one for the right side and one for the left. They have enough wear to let us know that they saw service and were not just a surplus piece. This is a great looking original set that anyone would be proud to own.
