This is a great looking little pair of guns! This is a matching pair of iron barreled single shot pistols. This is the pattern that would have been made about 1820 or so. The overall length of each gun is 6-1/2 inches and 1-3/4ths of those inches are the barrels that were design to unscrew and are now frozen in place. They fire a single shot of about .50 caliber. The metal parts of the guns have a pleasing dark attic tone all over. The guns are both still in the original flintlock configuration and the action is crisp on one. The other cocks back and catches slightly but slips off of the full cock position. The side of the frame has the panoply of arms on one side and the geometric design on the other side. The wood on the guns have a beautiful look with a deep dark tone all over. The guns sport an iron triggerguard with the starburst design on the bow. This is a great looking and complete pair of matching early 1800's flintlock pistol and you get them both for only $695.00.
