Here is a nice original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from the 1908 reunion of the members of the hard fighting 3rd Ohio Cavalry They fought at Corinth, Perryville, Stones River and the entire Atlanta Campaign under General Sherman. At the top of the ribbon it has the U.S. flag. In the center it has the "FORTY-THIRD ANNUAL REUNION" and in the middle "THIRD OHIO CAVALRY LONG'S SECOND BRIGADE. The bottom has the Toledo, Ohio location as well as the September 1st 1908 date of the reunion. The ribbon is nice white silk that has aged to a pretty tan color. The ribbon measures 6-3/4ths inches by 1-5/8th inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
