Here is a nice original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from a reunion of the members of the 49th Massachusetts Infantry. At the middle of the ribbon it has the 49th Massachusetts Infantry designation just below the design of the corps badge. The records show that the regiment fought at Port Hudson, Louisiana. They had 30 members of the regiment killed in action during the War. The ribbon is nice white silk that has the blue ink. The ribbon measures 7-1/2 inches by 2-3/4ths inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
