This is a wonderful original item from the 1934 reunion of the United Confederate Veterans. This reunion was held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It still has the brass top portion with the likeness of Lookout Mountain. The original pin is present on the back of the medal. What makes this one special is that it has the "ASSISTANT INSPECTOR GENERAL" bar that lets us know it was worn by one of the officers at the reunion. These are much more scarce than the standard badge. The original red and white ribbon is still attached and the colors are still vivid. The bottom medallion has the large Confederate Battleflag in the center with the "U.C.V. REUNION" and the date of "1934" at the bottom. on the back of the medal it has desirable maker's mark of the Chattanooga Button & Badge Company very clearly marked. This is a fantastic Piece of Confederate veteran history from the 1934 U.C.V. reunion.
