Here is a great displaying little gun! This is a Civil War era double barrel boot or pocket pistol. As you can see it visually displays quite well. The mechanics of the gun are still functioning. This is the version that has the trigger that drops down when the hammer is pulled back. The gun has the barrels that are 3-1/8th inch in length and fire a .38 caliber bullet. You can still see the Damascus pattern to the metal of the barrels. The barrel still unscrew for cleaning. On the side of the frame it has the floral and geometric engraving. On the left-hand side of the frame you can still see the oval stamping which lets us know that the gun was made in Belgium. The original 1 piece dark wood grip is intact. On the bottom of the grip it has the iron grip cap. What makes this one really stand out is that in more modern times someone took an old wooden case and made a form fitted inside to hold the gun as well as a bullet mold and powder flask. The flask and mold are both original pieces in fine condition. You get the gun as well as the mold and flask and the wooden display case for $695.00.
