Here is a cool looking set up. This group features a well worn but nice displaying militia coat uniform for the "Albany Burgesses Society". The set would date from the 1870's or 1880's. The button is outfitted with the New York state seal buttons with the "Excelsior" motto. It is missing a few of the buttons but there are still several present and they look great. What makes the display really stand out is what accompanies the coat. The coat is accompanied by belt and buckle. The leather belt has the red and white paint and the buckle is in excellent condition. It also has the tarred cartridge box that is marked "5F" on the white canvas cross belt. It has another sling that contains the musket bayonet and scabbard. You get the coat as well as the belt, cartridge box and sling and the bayonet and shoulder sling. You get them all for $895.00.
