This is a little button that you don't see offered every day! It is the uniform button of the Massachusetts Independent Corps of Cadets. It has the fancy script "ICC" lettering inside a wreath with a lined background. As you can see the face of the button still retains a fine amount of the original gold gilding from the factory. This is the version listed as MS62av in Albert's button book and as MS248as3 in Tice's button book. He states that they were made in the 1840's or 1850's. This is a great looking 16mm button. '
