Shoulderbelt Plate for Militia or Cadet Circa 1900-1925 Like O&D #795
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a fine looking military shoulder belt plate. This is the pattern that is illustrated as Plate #795 on page 472 of the Belt Buckle & Plate book by O'Donnell & Campbell. They state that these high domed unmarked plates were used by militia units as well as military cadets from about 1900 to 1925. This one has a very pleasing darker tone. On the reverse it has all four of the original attachment hooks intact. This is a nice plate for the price!
