Beautiful Late 1800's Shot Flask With Hunting Dog Designed Leather Body
Click on an image to enlarge
This is a great looking flask. This is the pattern of flask that was designed to carry shot instead of the powder. The body of the flask is made of leather which is in worn but nice shape. Each side of the body has the image of the hunting dog. On one side it has the "2-1/2 lbs" marking. At the top of the flask it has the original brass pour spout with the spring that still works. This flask would probably date from the late 1800's or early 1900's and is priced accordingly. It makes a superb display piece.
