Great Looking 1870's CDV Image of a Militia Soldier in Uniform with Boston Backmark
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a cool looking CDV image of a seated soldier in his dress uniform. He is wearing the militia style gray coat with the epaulets on the shoulders. His crossbelt plate is clearly visible with the company letter "F" that matched his militia buckle around his waist. On the table beside him is his kepi style military hat. On the back of the card it has the Boston, Massachusetts photographer marking of the A.N. Hardy firm. This is a fine 1870's CDV image.
