Riling Pattern #366 Variant Shell & Bush Design Civil War Era Powder Flask

This is an attractive original Civil War era powder flask. The body has the sides that has the shell and bush design on each side of the brass body. The flask stands about 7 inches tall and is about 3-1/2 inches across. The spout is present and the spring functions. It is the version that is made with two hanging loops on the side and they are both present. This is a variation of the pattern that is illustrated as figure #366 on page 291 in Ray Riling's book on powder flasks. It has a very attractive overall look!
