Here is a beautiful designed note. This is a piece of currency was issued by the Bank of the Commonwealth in Richmond, Virginia and is marked as such along the center of the note. It has the issue date May 1st 1861. The note depicts the image of the Virginia state seal on the left hand side. It is made with the blank back which is known as it being "Uniface".
