Wonderful Tecumseh Bank of Michigan Uncut Sheet of 4 Bank Notes

Here is a wonderful display piece! It is an original uncut and unissued sheet of bank notes from Michigan. These 4 notes were printed in New York City by Bowden, Wright & Hatch for the Tecumseh Bank in Tecumseh, Michigan. These notes are what is known as a "Remainder" meaning that it was printed but never issued. This bank never opened and these remainders date from 1838. The sheet has 2 of the $1.00 denominations with one each of he $3.00 and $5.00 denominations. They are beautifully designed with images of soldiers, Indians, farmers and Lady Liberty. As you can see, they are exceptionally crafted. You get all four notes and they come in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
