This is a tough to find bank note. It is an original Civil War bank note from the Bank of the County of Blount Tennessee in Maryville, Tennessee. On the left hand side it has the the standing image of the Indian Brave. It is hand signed and numbered. It is signed by the chairman and has the small image of dog's head down by the signature line. It has the printed date of issue of January 6th 1862. This one is in very attractive circulated condition. The overall size of the note measures 7 inches by 2-3/4ths inches. The note has been professionally graded by the PMG Company and they have graded it "Choice Fine" and it comes in one of their acid free holders. It has a nice overall look and is a scarce piece of Civil War money.
