Beautiful Framed Soldier's memorial Lithograph of the 39th Massachusetts Infantry

Here is a great looking piece that is ready for your wall. It is a beautiful framed piece honoring the Thirty-Ninth Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. This is what is known as a Soldier's Memorial Lithograph. It is a hand-colored soldier's memorial lithograph for Company A of the 39th Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteers. New York. This was printed by the famous lithographer, Currier & Ives and it has the 1862 date along the bottom by their marking. The piece comes in a beautiful original frame that measures 21 inches by 17.25 inches in overall size. The visible part of the lithograph measures 15-1/2 inches by 19-1/2 inches in overall size. At the top it has the beautiful spreadwing Union eagle with George Washington below. A beautifully designed and extensively detailed memorial for Company A, who mustered into service August 18, 1862 at Lynnfield, [Massachusetts]. It includes a roster with lists of commissioned and non-commissioned officers. The 39th Massachusetts Infantry served with the Department of Washington, D.C. and then with the Army of the Potomac. This one is ready for your wall.
