Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a cool Colonial American piece of history. This is an original Promissory Note from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania dated November 16th 1793. It is agreeing to Allard Durand & Company in 30 days. What is neat about this document, other than being so old, is that it is written in two amounts. The first is $708.24 and for the English equivalent of 265 Pounds, 11Shillings. The paper measures 9 inches by 3-7/8ths inches in overall size. It has been encapsulated by the PCGS Company for display and preservation. This is a neat early American document.
