Beautiful Matching Pair of Civil War Epaulets for a Brigadier General

This is a wonderful original pair of officer shoulder rank epaulets. The epaulets are the high grade style that those sold by the best retailers. On the top they have the buttons with the Union eagle in the center. This is the pattern that were worn by staff officers during the Civil War. In the center of each epaulet they have the ornate silver embroidered single star that denote the rank of Brigadier General. The silver of the stars have aged to a gorgeous dark gray color. They have the gorgeous golden color brass bullion on the edges and the bullion appears to be 100% complete. When you turn them over, you see the original Moroccan leather and marron felt. These were very well made and they are custom designed for each shoulder and are so marked "RIGHT and "LEFT". This is a great set of Civil War general's epaulets that any collector would appreciate.
