Here is a neat Civil War banking note from Palmyran, New York. It is a counterfeit note that was to look like it was issued from the Cuyler's Bank. This counterfeit was designed to look like it was issued for the amount of $5.00 with the printed date of issuance of January 1st 1854. It measures 7 inches by 3 inches. The note is correctly hand signed and numbered. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
