Here is a fine original ink autograph of Union General Rufus Ingalls. Rufus Ingalls (August 23, 1818 – January 15, 1893) was an American military general who served as the 16th Quartermaster General of the United States Army. Ingalls served in the Mexican War and masterminded supplies for the siege of Petersburg, Virginia during the Civil War. He is buried at Arlington. The autograph is accompanied by a printed biography of his service as well as a modern printed image of the General. The paper that the autograph is on measures 1-1/8th inches by 2-3/4ths inches in overall size. It is a fine piece of history!
