Great Stereoview of the Lincoln's "Birthplace" in Hodgensville, Kentucky
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a great piece of history of President Abraham Lincoln. This is a very nice stereo view image from the Keystone View Company series. It has the title, "Birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, Hodgensville, Kentucky." These stereo view images were one of the 1st ways for people to view things in 3 dimensions when they were used with the stereo view holder. The back of the card also has the story of the house and Lincoln. The card itself measures 7 inches wide and is 3-1/2 inches tall. It is a fine and still affordable piece of history from one of the most important men during the Civil War.
