This is a very nice little gun for the price! It is a double barrel boot or pocket pistol from the Civil War era. This one has both of the full-length 4-1/8th inch barrels and measures 9-1/2 inches in overall length. that fire a bullet of about .44 caliber. The action has spring on both sides and but the hammers no longer catch on either of the positions. The triggerguard conceals the double triggers. The 1-piece handle of the gun is the original one with a nice look to the wood. This style of pistol was often used as a last line of defense by soldiers on both sides of the Civil War. This is a very cool pistol for the money!
