Williams Cleaner! Civil War Musket Ball Bullet Struck Piece of Tree
Click on an image to enlarge

Here is a neat relic! It is an original section of a tree from a battle. This tree was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It took a direct hit from a soldier's bullet. The tree healed itself around the lead bullet as you can see. It has been trimmed out to show the bullet better as you can see. The bullet appears to be a .58 caliber size Williams Cleaner Pattern Bullet with the base cap blown off. The wood is 4 inches long and is 1-1/2 inches at the widest point. It will enhance any Civil War artifact collection.
