Pistol Size Civil War Era Percussion Caps in Original Paper Container
Click on an image to enlarge
This is a nice little piece to display beside your Civil War era percussion pistol. It is an original box of percussion caps. These are the small size that went on percussion pistols. The box is circular and measures 1-3/4ths inches across and stands 3-/4ths inches tall. You often see this style in cased pistol sets. The top of the box is marked "J. Goldmark's Patent" with the 1858 date. It also has the cross rifles on the back side of the paper. There are a few of the caps still remaining on the inside of the box.
