8th Michigan Infantry 1888 Dated Veteran Reunion Ribbon From Flint, Michigan

Here is a nice original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from the 1889 reunion of the members of the 8th Michigan Infantry. They served in the battles of Antietam, Fredericksburg, Vicksburg, Wilderness, Cold Harbor and the Crater at Petersburg. At the top of the ribbon it has the "REUNION 8th Mich. Infantry". The bottom has the "Flint, Mich" location of the reunion as well as the June 13th 1888 date of the reunion. The ribbon is nice blue silk that has the black lettering color. The ribbon measures 6 inches by 2 inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
