On the back side of the blade, it has the "U.S." in the center of the blade. At the base of the back of the blade, It has the maker's marking of the Clauberg Company along with the standing suit of amour trademark. On the base of the front of the blade, it has the retailer etching marking from the famous New York firm of Schuyler, Hartley & Graham. The sword is accompanied by the original scabbard that has a pleasing look. The scabbard has the iron body with the brass throat, mount and drag intact.
