Very Cool Looking Pre-Revolutionary War Iron Guarded Small Sword

Here is a cool looking sword from the early part of the 1700's. This is a style of sword often referred to as a small sword and sometimes a "Mourning" sword used at ceremonies. It measures 30 inches in overall size with the blade making up 24-1/4th inches. It has the three sided blade that has a wonderful ancient attic color with the old pitting. The sword has the finely crafted curves to the handguard and crossguard. The handle itself has the wound style grip that displays beautifully. It is held together with the bulbous pommel cap. This is a great little sword especially when you consider it is about 300 years old.
