Battle of Shiloh Survivors Reunion Ribbon From 1921 With Grant Image
Click on an image to enlarge
This piece has been in my personal collection but I have bought a new treasure and am letting a few things go. Now is your chance. This is the only one of these ribbons I have ever owned. This is a 1921 dated reunion ribbon commemorating the Survivors of the Battle of Shiloh. The top of the ribbon has the likeness of general U.S. Grant. Along the bottom edge, it has the reunion date of April 6-7th 1921. The ribbon displays well but has the fraying as you can see in the images. The red silk ribbon has the black ink printing. It measures 7 inches by 2-1/4th inches in overall size. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
